As he steps through the tall grass in his red a black striped trainers, Miles' shoulder-length hair waves in the breeze. The beautiful ginger colour glitters in the sunlight. His eyes are a sparkling greeny-brown, but are usually covered by his awesomely awesome shades. His skin is tanned. A golden browny colour is the shade of tan. He is quite skinny but a little plump around the thighs. Normally he wears a t-shirt and shorts. His favourite outfit is a camoflauge patterned pair of shorts and a red t-shirt with a totodile on it. Sometimes, he wears long jeans and a leather jacket when it is cool enough. In the winter when the wheather gets freezing cold, he wears a pair of trousers that he tucks into his two pairs of socks, and he puts on a wooly jumper that his grandma nitted. His ears sometimes stick out as they are quite big. Sometimes he gets teased about it. He has a deformed toe on his left foot that makes it harder to run. His fingernails are short and stubby. This is because when he was younger he used to bite them, and they never grew back. All over his arms and face are scars from when he got attacked by a Raticate. They make him look quite tough, which is good for Miles as he get's teased alot. His legs are longer than most peoples, making him run faster than others, despite his bad toe. His fingers are also very long. They have permanent ridges in them as he plays guitar alot. This is because he wants to become a singer when he is older.
-Birth to 3 Years Old-
On a tropical, wet night in the summer, Miles was born in a small, hidden town on the outskirts of Lincolnshire named Stamford. Inside a flat block up near the college, a woman, Miles' mother, lived with her room mate, and partner, Jonathon, Miles' dad. During the period where Miles' mum, Amelia was in labour, her cells were dying one by one at the pressure of giving birth to me without a midwife at her aid. Jonathon was out of town on a work experience trip, as he was still at high school in sixth form. Once he came back, he found me lying in my mothers arms, wrapped in a cloth. I was alive, but that is not something I could say for my mother. Her last few breaths of life were taken as she drifted into an endless sleep. "Look after him... call him Miles... cherish him... forever......" were her last words before she tragically died, but peacefully in her own bed.
After my first few weeks of being alive, I started to notice alot of jibberish being spoken. This was because I had to be raised by a nanny who used to be an english teacher. She was incredibly literate and taught me many words that I would normally learn in year 4 at school. I was fed at breakfast, lunch and dinner, just like any ordinary child, but my appetite was alot stranger. Have you ever tried cheese on toast? How about chocolate and strawberrys? Both of them are Incredilbly tasty, but Miles enjoyed them mixed together in a blender. This would be what he usually had for lunch. His breakfast and dinner were alot more healthy, but strange as well.
My 1st Birthday finally came on the twenty sixth of october 1999. My family came from all over the town to visit on that day. Jonathon gave me a party with balloons and presents. My Cake was a sponge cake with jam and cream in the middle. There was one candle on the top that looked like a smeargle who's tail had caught on fire. My slice was mashed up so that I could eat it. Afterwards, I burped quite loudly. Everybody laughed, but what happened next was what they didn't expect. "Pardon! Pardon pardon pardon!" I squeaked. My first word. At the age of one. This was thanks to my nanny as she had terrible wind problems for months on end and was constantly saying pardon when she burped. Everyone was so proud of me!
I learnt many new words from then on. My second word was "nappie" as my father and nanny both said it whenever I needed my nappy to be changed. I then learnt bigger words such as "explanation" and "terrific". The biggest word I ever learned was a few days before my 3rd birthday. It wasn't just the biggest word I had learned, but It was the biggest word in the english dictionary. Antidisestablishmentarianism. Everybody was amazed.
-3 Years old to 8 Years Old-
After a few days, my third birthday finally came. We didn't have as big a party as last time and the time before. It was just me and dad. My nanny didn't need to nanny me any more, as my father had finished high school and was able to look after me whilst I wasn't being looked after by a close friend of his. Jonathan was working as Whitney's assistant in Goldenrod's gym. They became good friends, and after a few months, they got married. Whitney had became my step mother. Dad worked at the gym on some days as the gym leader whilst Whitney looked after me, and then they swapped. Whitney was a fantastic step mother. I loved her almost as much as I loved my birth mother.
I had learned to walk and run after a lot of help from my dad and step mother, and I was potty trained at the age of 2. Now I was going to school. A month before my fifth birthday on September the 8th was when I started. I went to a school called Saint Blue's School in Monaco Burrows below Tohjo Falls. I made 2 friends called Rui and Anthony. Rui came from France when his parents got divorced and we became good friends on his first day. He was just as literate as I was, so we always had a friendly rivalry between us. Anthony was the one who was sometimes nice, but was mean at times. He somtimes teased me as I had ginger hair. He soon realised that it was mean and he stopped after a while.
After travelling through primary school with my friends I finally got to the age of eight. This was where I got to year 3. My teacher was called Mrs Scott and she was horrible. She was the worst teacher we ever had. She hated me and my two friends since we let a stink bomb off in the teachers lounge on a residential trip. We were sent back to school whilst the rest of out class stayed for the rest of the week. We managed to scrape through Year 3 without getting expelled as our exam results were good.
-Nine Years Old to Now-
On my ninth birthday, I went to pokemon towers for the day with Rui, Anthony, dad and Whitney. I was so happy that dad and Whitney had taken the time to close the gym for me. We went on all kinds of different rides whilst we were there, and we even stayed in the pool for almost 4 hours. Our skin looked like rotten Plums, but we didn't care. It was late at night when we went home. The Volbeat and Illumise swarmed above the sea as we had a walk on the beach after we had left pokemon towers. It was beautiful. Rui and Anthony stayed the night. It was cramped but we managed to squeeze everyone in. Dad and Whitney only had to sleep in the same bed.
Sisters are a nightmare. Especially when they get all the attention on your special day. My 10th birthday. I had a surprise of getting a half sister as a present. Rosy she was called. I was so annoyed that everyone was fussing over her. Whitney knew that it was bothering me, so she took me out for some ice cream at the cafe down town.
I got used to having Rosy around after a while, and by the time my 11th birthday came, I loved her being around. We had a huge party as it was also Rosy's 1st birthday. We booked the town hall for the day and our whole family came. Even all of the gym leaders and elites came as they were friends of Whitney. We had a brilliant time. I taught Rosy how to speak as well. You know what her first words were? Fishy custard.... As strange as it sounds, that is what it was.
The day has come. Today is the day that I start my pokemon journey. My step mum packed all of the essentials I needed (clothes, toothbrush e.g.) and waved me off with dad. They said that they were moving house so I could see them once I got to Saffron City. Then I set off to begin my journey.
